Did not have anything I felt was helpful. The online link did more than anything to help me. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this book to anyone.

This book gives a good overview of the test, and tells you what content is eligable. The practice test is pretty accurate and explanations are good. However I was hoping for a book with more content review, as some of the other ETS books are. Not in this one.

While this study guide does have some good information a lot of the first couple chapters are fluff. By this I mean that they spend time going over the purpose of the test, the grading process, how they train the graders, etc… The last couple chapters are quite good because it gives examples of what an essay response that received a grade of “4″ looks like vs. one that received a “6″. You can than highlight or take notes and formulate your own style. What I got the most out of was the style of essay answers and the jargon that was used.

I enjoyed this study guide. No it does not spoon feed you, but it is written by the people who created the test so it tells you what you need to study. It also has a practice test section and explains the correct answers.
