I purchased the TABE reference in order to study for an examination I was required to take in order to receive a grant for continuing education after a recent layoff from my former employer.
I attempted to check out this same reference from the local library but found that the many copies they offered were already loaned out but I went ahead and reserved my copy in the event one was available. Meanwhile the examination was looming and although I was using other resources to study for the test I really needed the TABE resource and when I couldn’t wait any longer (for the library to come through) I went ahead and purchase from Amazon this book. I opted for the fastest shipping which is not the cheapest way to go but I needed the book immediately so I would still have time to study for the test.
As luck would have it I received the book from Amazon the very next day (next day delivery) but wouldn’t you know, I received an e-mail from my local library saying that the same TABE book was in for me check out! Ughhh. It is funny that I first purchased the book for less than $15.00 which wasn’t bad. But then I paid an additional $20.00 to have it shipped overnite and never really needed it.
I did pass the exam and eneded up donating the book from Amazon to the local library so in the end everyone benefited.

The book is very detailed. I wish the book was more compact. I only need it the math section. But overall is a great to have and study before taking the TABE.

This book provided a good review of Math and English when I had to take a state test for a job..I would recommend it.
