The book does not provide activities for under privileged children. The book provides unrealistic scenarios that are rare for the students I serve.

I teach a small group of developmentally delayed high school students and this book provides great activities. I modify when needed. I like to emphasize and use new vocabulary. This book provides pre-made lesson plans. I referred to CASAS for associated standards. Good luck!

The item I purchased was exactly what I was hoping it would be. My problem was that I ordered the book on 8/12 and it was not delivered until Tues 09/08. I will honestly think twice before ordering again. I could have special ordered it from a local bookstore and received it quicker.
